Jerry Greiner is President of The Northwestern Water and Sewer District, (The District) a regional water and sewer district in Wood County, Ohio.
The District is chartered under section 6119 of the Ohio Revised Code, and is an agency of the Ohio state government. The District provides water and sanitary sewer services to approximately 19,800 customers in the region, and it has roughly 73 full time employees. The organization represents 20 member townships, 13 municipalities, and has service lines in Wood, Ottawa, Lucas, Henry, Hancock and Sandusky counties.
The District was formed in 1994 when Wood County transferred the sanitary engineer’s office and formed the regional water and sewer district.
Prior to coming into county government in 1988, Jerry was a vice-president for a regional bank in the area managing 4 offices totaling $50 million in assets with 100 employees.
Jerry graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1980 with an undergraduate degree in marketing.
He is a husband, father of two girls, brother, son and master of a puppy, who thinks he is nice.
